4. Weight distribution:  What am I talking about here?  It is the distribution of weight.  Movement requieres a transfer of our weight in some direction.  Understanding weight shifts helps us better understand how to move the mass we live in. 

Ex. Before getting up from the sitting exercise, exaggerated leaning to the right over your right axis and then over the left, or the other way.  As you go to stand, exaggerate leaning over the suporting side as you move the free leg.  Follow with exaggerated movement over the new standing leg as you place the second free leg.  Walk with exaggerated leaning from side to side.  Do all of this slowly and with an investigative mind.  Notice the stress on the body parts when we are not carrying our weight in a symmetrical/centered way.
